For the first three years that we lived in our house, our house was protected by one of the large home security companies in the nation. This gave us peace of mind that we would be protected by a reputable company. We never had any problems with our security system nor the monitoring company. However, after learning more about the security industry, we realized that the monthly charge of $32.00 was just too expensive.
